Thursday 19th March saw the Kingham Hill community mark Founder’s Day.
In keeping with long-standing tradition, pupils and staff walked from the Hill to St Peter’s Church, Daylesford, for a short service at the graveside of the Founder, Charles Edward Baring Young. It is a route many Hillians will remember well and one that continues to connect today’s pupils with those who have gone before.
On a bright spring morning, the School gathered in the churchyard for prayers, the singing of the Founder’s hymn, and the laying of a wreath by the Heads of School.
As ever, it was a simple but significant moment in the school year - a chance to pause and reflect on the Founder’s vision, and the values that continue to underpin life at Kingham Hill.
