Consider Health Goals That Meet You Where You Are

January often brings messages about transformation—new habits, new routines, new expectations. For many people impacted by cancer, those messages can feel overwhelming or disconnected from reality.

Health doesn’t look the same for everyone, and it rarely follows a straight line. Treatment, recovery, caregiving, and survivorship all come with their own rhythms. Some days are about strength and momentum; others are about rest and simply getting through.

Rather than focusing on traditional resolutions, this season can be an opportunity to think differently about health—through smaller, more compassionate intentions. These intentions aren’t about fixing or improving yourself; they’re about noticing what you need and responding with care.

That might mean:
  • Listening closely to your body and honoring rest without guilt
  • Letting go of expectations about what health “should” look like
  • Asking for support sooner, even when it feels uncomfortable
  • Choosing movement, nourishment, or connection in ways that feel gentle and supportive
  • Giving yourself permission to move at your own pace

Put Your Message in the Middle of the Action

This February, thousands of riders and supporters will fill 24 Hour Town at the TMC Health 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo - and you can be part of it.

By purchasing a campsite sign, you're doing more than donating.

You're:
✔ Honoring or remembering someone impacted by cancer

✔ Sharing a message of encouragement riders will see all weekend

✔ Supporting Bag It Cancer and all those impacted by cancer

Whether you're riding, crewing, spectating - or cheering from afar - your sign will be proudly displayed throughout the event as a visible reminder that no one faces cancer alone.

📅Custom sign orders close February 6, 2026

Partner Highlight

Grateful for Our Local Partners

Bag It Cancer’s work is made possible through strong, long-standing partnerships with organizations who share our commitment to care, community, and support. As we begin the year, we want to recognize three Tucson-based partners who have been instrumental in helping us serve patients and healthcare providers for more than a decade.
Xcel Delivery
A trusted partner since 2014, Xcel Delivery helps ensure Bag It bags reach healthcare providers across Tucson and Phoenix. Their reliability and ongoing support help us get bags where they’re needed, when they’re needed—so patients can receive timely care and comfort.
Beacon Group
Partnering with Bag It Cancer since 2012, Beacon Group assembles our bags with care and attention. Their work supports meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities, and we’re proud to partner with an organization whose mission aligns so closely with our values.
AZ Litho
Also a partner since 2012, AZ Litho handles the printing of Bag It materials and warehouses our inventory. Their expertise and consistency help ensure our educational resources are high quality, accessible, and ready to be shared when needed.
We are deeply grateful for these partners and the role they play in helping us deliver thoughtful support to individuals facing cancer. Their collaboration makes a lasting difference in our community.

Making A Difference

Help Us Keep the Bag It Bag Relevant

One of the ways we ensure the Bag It bag continues to be meaningful is by listening to the people who use it and share it.

Every 18–24 months, we take time to thoughtfully review the contents of our Bag It Bags—not because we expect major changes, but to ensure what we provide is relevant, supportive, up to date, and useful for those receiving them.

The most meaningful insights come from the people who use the bags and the healthcare providers who share them. This January, we’re inviting Bag recipients, caregivers and healthcare providers to share by:
  • Participating in a small, guided focus group for bag recipients, or
  • Completing an online feedback form

Whether you have a few minutes or a bit more time to share, your input helps us make thoughtful changes and ensures the bag continues to provide a sense of empowerment and the tools to help one feel more informed and organized.

We know your time is valuable. As a small thank you, survey participants will be entered into a drawing for one of six gift cards, with winners selected on January 30.
First-time respondents only. One entry per household.

Share Your Story

Your Experience Can Help Someone Else

One of the most powerful ways people find comfort is through shared experience. We’re always looking to collect stories and testimonials from those who have received a Bag It Bag—or from healthcare providers who help share them.

This January, we’re kicking off a year-long effort to highlight these voices across our newsletter, website, and social media. Your story doesn’t have to be long or polished—just honest.

If you’re open to sharing how a Bag It Bag impacted you, we’d love to hear from you.
(Stories may be featured in future newsletters and communications.)
