As our fiscal year comes to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on the incredible impact you made during the 2024–25 school year. While the classrooms may be quiet for summer, the generosity of our supporters continues to resonate across the district. I’m honored to introduce myself as the Amphi Foundation’s new Executive Director, and I couldn’t be more excited to step into this role at such an exciting time for the Foundation.
Thanks to you, we reinvested $328,041.21 into Amphi schools this year. Together, we:
Provided 616 students with brand new shoes through the Clothing Bank and Shoes to Smiles
Awarded $22,000 in scholarships to 10 graduating seniors
Funded classroom supplies through Full STEAM Ahead
Supported summer programs that give kids a safe place to play, learn, and grow
Because of your support, more Amphi students felt seen, supported, and ready to succeed. As we look ahead, I’m excited to keep this momentum going and make 2025–26 our most impactful year yet.
With gratitude,
Megan George Executive Director, Amphi Foundation
Educator Grants in Action!
Our Educator Grants program continues to deliver high-impact support to Amphi teachers and students. Thank you to our donors for making these opportunities possible. This year, we supported 34 requests at 19 schools!
100% of teachers said they could not have completed their project without our support, and that it contributed to improved student engagement, increased academic outcomes, and enhanced learning experiences.
"We would not have been able to get most of the supplies that we did without the funding from the Amphi Foundation. This project empowered my students to be leaders from the planning of this project all the way through its implementation. This project made an impact on our school community because it inspired students in lower grades to want to continue this newly created tradition."
- Nina Brown, Painted Sky Elementary
"The AHS Book Club had an excellent year filled with countless book discussions, author research, and two interviews during the Tucson Festival of Books. Among the 12 books they read this year, Poet X was one of their favorites. Overall, the discussions of writing and performing as emotional release were very encouraging."
- Taryn Burlison, Amphi High
"Thanks to funding from the Amphi Foundation, students at Nash have been able to explore, create, and learn new and interesting art techniques. Projects include: printmaking, robot building, Northern Lights with chalk, line exploration, and dot art. This wouldn't be possible without these fundamental materials for the art room. We have been able to expand our STEAM lessons!"
- Melissa Holland, Nash Elementary
We're looking for a Bookkeeper!
Our longtime accountant is retiring, and we’re seeking support for the Amphi Foundation. We’d love to work with someone who’s part of the Amphi family as an alum, parent, or supporter with experience in nonprofit bookkeeping and tax preparation. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we’d love to connect! Email us at amphifnd@amphi.com.
