Message from our CEO
IAALS is in a moment of extraordinary momentum. Across the organization, we are advancing meaningful reforms—through new research, convenings, and on-the-ground partnerships. The recent launch of our Judicial Innovation webinar series is one example of how we are bringing diverse stakeholders together to address the most pressing challenges in our justice system.

In conversations with partners and peers, I’ve been struck by how much people are craving this kind of work. There is a palpable sense of urgency for a bold, grounded, and solutions-focused approach. That’s who we are at IAALS. We bring people together across divides, we lead with research and collaboration, and we drive impact that reaches well beyond headlines. This is not theoretical work; it is practical, lasting, and designed to meet this moment.

Later this month, I’ll be at the World Justice Forum in Warsaw to share some of this work on a global stage and connect with others on the critical importance of the rule of law. As Judge Fogel recently emphasized in his expert opinion below on the Rule of Law, our commitment to improving the justice system is not only timely, it is essential.

Thank you for being part of it.

Brittany Kauffman, CEO
