Join AMPC and Trees Atlanta for our Forest Restoration Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9 am - noon. Activities include removing invasive plants such as Chinese privet, Rose of Sharon, and Eleagnus in a densely wooded area off the nature trail. To join us, register here!
Join AMPC and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) for a hands-on experience on the water. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, we will kayak from Atlanta Memorial Park to Standing Peachtree, picking up trash and debris along this five-mile stretch of the creek.
This unique trip is made possible thanks to our partnership with CRK with support from the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) to help remove the debris along the way.

Join AMPC and Trees Atlanta docent Mary Lillian on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm for a Tree Tour: Atlanta Memorial Park - From Battlefield to Urban Forest. Mary Lillian will take the group on a walk to learn more about the rich biodiversity of trees and insects in the park as well as its historic past. To register, click here.
