Discover the beauty of Italic calligraphy in a friendly and relaxed setting! Using the 2.4mm Pilot Parallel Pen, we’ll explore the graceful strokes and angles that bring this elegant Renaissance-style script to life. Italic is a classic, versatile hand that’s perfect for everything from greeting cards to envelope art. No experience? No problem—this class is designed for true beginners. Everyone is welcome! Come try your hand at something beautiful—you’ll be amazed at what you can create! A supply list of materials for each session is available at the Front Desk upon registration. You are invited to the reactivated writing group now called “Tuesdays with Stories 2.0.” It is much more than just a memoir group. We welcome all kinds of writing such as diary entries, letters, poetry, letters to the editor, your newly created recipes, personal stories, or any other type of communication including photos, artwork, drawings, signs etc. We do not critique or judge; just share. We are an open & accepting group interested in welcoming you at any stage of your creative journey. See you soon! Community Center membership required.

Yoga & Fitness Training with Gina |
Tuesdays • 12:00pm–1:00pm Fridays • 9:30am–10:30a Class is limited to 18 students
Fee paid to instructor, $8 per class
Discover safe and gentle movement therapy using a sturdy chair. This class provides participants with a variety of yoga poses to lubricate joints and find flexibility and strength. Gina Puccinelli is known for her calm voice, and her gentle ease while guiding classes through poses - finding balance, strength, and serenity - clearly her life’s passion. Participants will be sitting and standing while using a chair.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention |
Wednesdays • 2:00pm–3:00pm
This program is ideal for adults with or without arthritis, joint issues, back pain, or increased fall risk. It’s especially suited for those new to Tai Chi. Benefits include improved balance, mobility, strength, flexibility, and relaxation, along with reduced pain and fall risk. Certified instructors Leon & Joanne Garden were personally trained by Dr. Paul Lam through the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Community Center membership required.
