Music That Makes Community

Music that Makes Community is part of Southwestern Virginia Diocesan efforts to build a beloved community. Four Episcopal singers came to Boys Home and taught simple songs through demonstration, listening, and repetition in a way that everyone was able to easily sing and enjoy making music together. A group of students were quick to begin singing along, as well as drumming and even sharing their own songs!
Boys Home thanks Deborah Hunley, Darla Schumm, and Jenny and Richard Fife for coming and sharing their talent with our students. We look forward to introducing more of this style of paperless music in Chapel and even during informal singing moments!
