Here’s a little-known fact: most new charities are forced to close their doors before they reach their five-year anniversary. That's why I am very proud of the fact that Mikey’s Way Foundation will celebrate its 15-year anniversary in 2020.
That milestone is the result of the hard work and
dedication of a lot of people, yourselves included. And it is a testament to the enduring vision of our founder, my son, Mikey. He truly was ahead of his time when in 2005 he decided that the best way to help pediatric cancer patients was to give them electronics to keep their minds active and connected with friends and family.
Over the years, as electronics have become an ever growing part of our lives, it's become more vital than ever that young patients in treatment have access to them. On average 15,000+ children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer every year in the United States. I hope you’ll continue to support us as we work to serve as many of these children as possible.
