Every organization has go-to volunteers they know they can count on, time and time again. We are proud to honor one of our go-to volunteers, Laurel Bruntz, in this edition of our Supporter Spotlight.
"Despite growing up in Des Moines, it is learning about community organizations like the YWRC, and how unique and vital its role is in the lives of girls and young women, that makes me feel proud of my community."

YOU have the ability to help us empower girls to become resilient and pursue their goals each day.
Any year end donations received at $100 or more will be matched by a generous donor, with a total possible matching amount of $10,000!
As we enter the season of giving, we hope you will consider making a donation to support the girls and young we serve (1,721 last year!).

Donate essential personal care items to help us provide participants with essentials they need to be successful.
Our most needed items include body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, lotion, vaseline and coconut oil (all full size items please). Our participants would especially appreciate hair care items suited to kinky/coiled/textured hair.
