Hello Neighbor,
What a year it has been! As 2025 draws to a close, we are truly blown away by everything we have accomplished together. None of this would be possible without your support. Whether through monetary donations, volunteering, or simply joining us at an event. Because of you, our community is stronger than ever.
Looking ahead to 2026, we eagerly await the launch of our capital improvement campaign. This initiative will breathe life into our building while honoring its rich history. We can’t wait to share more details with you soon!
In the meantime, we invite you to join us for Cabin Fever Fridays. From January through April, we’ll be offering low-cost or free entertainment, food, and fun every single Friday. We know the winter months can feel a bit quiet in our neck of the woods, and we are proud to provide a warm, welcoming place for our neighbors to gather. After all, we are here for you through every season.
Kindly,
Amy Mooney, Executive Director

Little Compton Wellness Center to offer Caregivers' Support Group in January
Approximately 63 million Americans are family caregivers, a number that has increased significantly, with nearly one in four U.S. adults providing care.
In January, the Little Compton Wellness Center will be offering a six-week Caregiver’s Support Group led by the Rev. Virginia Army of St. Andrew’s by the Sea Church.
This group is open to all caregivers. Whether you are caring for an elderly parent, a disabled child or a loved one battling a debilitating illness. We’re offering care and support to the caregivers — the people who keep everything going.
Join us on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:15 pm from January 7 to February 11, 2026 at the Little Compton Wellness Center, 115 East Main Road, Little Compton, RI.
If you have questions, please contact LC Wellness Center Director Heather Fitzgerald at 401-592-0400.

Mark your calendars: January 24th, 2026 9.00 am to noon at the Little Compton Community Center, where SPA and The Sogkonate Garden Club (SGC) will jointly host "All About Seeds"—a lecture and hands-on workshop facilitated by Lizzie Hunt and Annie Bayer of Plant Community LLC.

This 3-hour program will explore exciting ways to work with seeds to build habitat resilience, garden beauty, and deeper connections with our landscape. The hands-on portion includes a guided "seed head" search activity, seed cleaning, and winter sowing techniques.

Registration details will be sent in early January. Throughout 2026, we'll host three follow-up workshops and several associated activities—so stay tuned!
