There’s a Goose on the Loose!

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Little Compton Community Center is hiding 29 painted 3D-printed geese around Little Compton to celebrate our 29th birthday! Follow our social media for clues and join the town-wide scavenger hunt. The first person to find a goose gets to keep it!

Each goose was 3D printed by the LC Makers and decorated by local artists, including Dorothy Kinnane, Galen Snow, Helen Woodhouse, Janie Kinnane, Kitt Shaffer, Michelle Tripp, Nancy Westfeldt, and Taylor Toppa.

Found a goose? Send us a photo of you and your goose where you discovered it! Photos can be sent via social media DM or emailed to juliatripp@lccenter.org.

Adamsville Cemetery DBA
Adamsville Cemetery is getting a 'facelift' - want to help?  We need you!  Stones in the cemetery have been tested by time (200yrs +/-) and are in need of restoration  - -they're broken, lopsided & hidden below the grass.  Citizen volunteers worked last year, to do basic cleaning, repairing and shoring up.  We now need to hire professionals; TNT Gravestone Solutions from Westport to do complicated restorations.  Your donations will help us meet the goal of $6.2k labor and supplies.  Donate to the Town of Little Compton (memo Adamsville Cemetery) or to GoFundMe https://gofund.me/708b0cabc. West Place Animal Sanctuary
Join the Volunteer Team at West Place Animal Sanctuary!

West Place is powered by the dedication of compassionate volunteers, and we are always looking for more helping hands. Right now, we have a pressing need for ANIMAL CARE volunteers available for weekday shifts. If you've ever wanted to learn new skills while caring for rescued pigs, goats, ducks, and more, this is your opportunity!

We're also seeking GREENTHUMB volunteers to help tend our gardens as the growing season gets underway. West Place has four greenhouses, an orchard, a berry garden, a vineyard, and multiple gardens across eight acres of the historic farm estate.

The safety and functionality of the sanctuary is paramount, which is why we are always in need of HANDYMEN & HANDYWOMEN volunteers. If you are skilled in maintenance, repairs, or general farm upkeep, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re looking to spend time in nature while giving back to your community in a meaningful way, there's a place for you here. No two days at West Place look the same, but every day makes a difference for the animals in our care.
