The DMRF Canada is a proud partner of the Global Dystonia Registry. The goal of the Global Dystonia Registry is to support future dystonia studies, including clinical and research trials, through the collection of data on persons affected by dystonia. 
 
Although the focal dystonias have many different manifestations, most experts believe they share a common pathogenesis or mechanism that causes the disorder. Collecting information from different patient populations may help us identify the common features that they may share.

a Dystonia Patient Education Grant Valued at $5,000
Letter of Intent Deadline: March 15, 2019
 
If you are interested in applying for the 2019 Jackson Mooney Patient Grant, please submit a letter of interest to DMRF Canada by March 15, 2019, explaining your personal situation and detailing how you would plan to use the grant funds.

Volunteers Needed for Calgary Casino 
We are looking for casino volunteers to help staff the DMRF Calgary Casino at
on August 11 and 12, 2019! 
The night shift is the most challenge to recruit for, so if any of you have friends or relatives that want to volunteer for a good cause, we'd be delighted to have them. Remember: Each volunteer contributes the equivalent of $2,000.00 for dystonia research and support programs.

Attention Researches - Deadline is Approaching: 
Mach 15, 2019

Its back and we are looking for applicants. The Banting Research Foundation Discovery Award, supported by DMRF Canada is a one-year grant of up to $25,000 that will support research related to the causes, mechanisms, prevention, and treatments which could potentially enable medical breakthroughs and trans formative healthcare advances to find a cure for dystonia.For more information click here.
